Since no one thought 5 years ago that my youngest son would ever go to college, and he proved them wrong. I wanted to share this link and story about other students like my son. There were 'extra' things to consider with Asperger's and this article talks about this. However, these 'high funtioning' and amazing young adults can succeed and are valuable to our society in so many ways! My son is succeeding and so can all children and adults on the spectrum! ~ Coreen
As you know my son works as a carer for the adult autisic though hard work finds it very rewarding. I think dealing with their problems was a major factor in his dealing with cancer he was dianosed with nearly three years ago.
