“Happiness always looks small while you hold it in your hands, but let it go, and you learn at once how big and precious it is.” ~Maxim Gorky
“A 'fresh start' attitude can bring inspiration, personal growth, love and happiness into your life." ~Me
For the next week, we challenge you to keep a list of at least one thing that brought you happiness each day.
I'm Happy and Thankful for many things every day... especially this week:
For more vacation days and starting to Move this week! :-)
For the buyer fixing things on the house so we can close soon!!
For ALL the birthday wishes last week & talking to all 3 of my sons! I was very touched.. Thank you everyone!!
"You may have a fresh start any moment you choose." ~ Mary PickfordIt's also "ALOHA FRIDAY" Everyone!! If you want to join in the fun? Post your own question on your blog and leave your link at the Aloha Friday post at An Island Life. Then you can visit the other participants if you wish...It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends or see what people are thinking about this week and join in a conversation or two if you like.
My question: How do you get a fresh start?I watch out my window as the planes take off into space. Oh, that I could fly away and start fresh. But I must realize that fresh starts also come in the pretty wrapped gift called 'tomorrow.' ~ unknown
My answer: I believe it is from letting go of guilt and/or resentment, giving us a new attitude and even renewed enthusiasm about life. Although a positive atmosphere can help too. ;-)
I will be back as soon as I'm completely moved.“I have always been delighted at the prospect of a new day, a fresh try, one more start, with perhaps a bit of magic waiting somewhere behind the morning...” ~ Joseph Priestley
Have a Wonderful weekend, everyone!!
Hugs and Much Love to you All,
~ Coreen XO
I agree making a fresh start (with yourself)
ReplyDeleteis letting go any hurt or angry resentment against you. This is shown in my latest poem "I Understand".
Great post to read as always Coreen.
Yvonne.
May your move be gentle and your hope restored.
ReplyDeleteI'm happy my revisions are done and my manuscript is now with my publisher!
ReplyDeleteThat is a big thing to have the buyers fix whatever!!! We were in that position one time and when the buyer said they would fix everything, whew!
ReplyDeleteHappy move...as far as thankful...I am thankful that my highschoolboy now collegeman2 made it through graduation and was able to hold himself together long enough to receive his diploma. He broke down crying because he realized how he was leaving everyone behind. Now someone tell me how autistics have no emotional attachments...
ReplyDeleteMay your move be as per your wish!! God Bless...
ReplyDeleteI don't remember if I wished you a Happy Birthday last week or not so if I didn't -- HAPPY BIRTHDAY, COREEN!
ReplyDeleteMore vacation days is always a good thing! I hope you enjoy them.
That's great the buyer is willing to fix things. Usually they want you to fix them.
God's best for your move and adjustment to the new place and keeping old, warm memories!
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for you, this move has been a long time coming. You know I want pictures of the deer. :)
ReplyDeleteFresh start = throw away the directions + let go of your heart + open your eyes and your arms.
