Half Full & Aloha Friday Question of the week...

“May God grant you always...A sunbeam to warm you, a moonbeam to charm you, a sheltering Angel so nothing can harm you. Laughter to cheer you. Faithful friends near you. And whenever you pray, Heaven to hear you.” ~ Irish Blessings
Half Full Friday is a series of weekly posts that Eye Girl originally started in June 2009.  Now the it is hosted by Sprinkles at Wyldechylde.  We believe that a lot of our happiness is determined by our attitude about the things that happen to us. So by participating, we are deciding to see the glass as half full, instead of half empty. We are choosing to concentrate on the positives, instead of dwelling on the negatives. Our Half Full Friday posts are a way to do just that. They are a list of the things in our life that have brought us happiness over the past week. We are determined to find the something good in every day. Are you?
"Once a happy thought gets started, you can't help but feel warm-hearted." ~ Author Unknown
For the next week, we challenge you to keep a list of at least one thing that brought you happiness each day.

I'm Happy and Thankful for many things every day... especially this week:
  • For the pain and emptiness from missing my oldest son and his precious dog :-) getting better each day.  Also happy that he calls on the weekend. :-)
  • For those trying to save the town I both work in and am moving too soon, from flooding.  The community is coming out and working together!!
  • For getting to talk to a good friend last week.  One of the few people I trust in this area.  I had a wonderful 'warm' feeling for the rest of the day and weekend.  We should talk more often. ;-)
"Friendship is missing them when you're apart, but somehow feeling warm inside because you're close in heart.”~ Me
It's also "ALOHA FRIDAY" Everyone!!  If you want to join in the fun? Post your own question on your blog and leave your link at the Aloha Friday post at An Island Life. Then you can visit the other participants if you wish...It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends or see what people are thinking about this week and join in a conversation or two if you like.
"A warm, happy heart can get us through the toughest of times.” ~ ME
My question:  What is something that 'warms' your heart?
My answer:   Heartfelt conversations with people I feel totally comfortable with!
"May you have warm words on a cold evening, a full moon on a dark night and a smooth road all the way to your door.” ~ Irish Blessings
I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!
Hugs and Much Love to you All,

  4. Glad to see you made contact with a trusted friend. I know what this meant to you. :D

What warms my heart... a simple act of kindness. Doesn't cost a thing and means so much.

I have a suggestion regarding the flooding in my post today. Please have a great weekend on me. :)

  6. Awwww! I'm not looking forward to the pain and emptiness of missing Princess Nagger (and whatever pet she'll have at the time) when she grows up and moves out. :)

What warms my heart is the same as you - having a warmhearted conversation with an awesome friend. And like Jules said - a simple act of kindness really warms the heart! :)

  7. Half full, and Aloha Fridays sound like so much fun. If I hadn't just returned hom from 3 week trip, and didn't have toothpicks holding my eyes open, I just might have participated in this on my own blog. Perhaps another week. :) ~ I will say though, that I am INCREDIBLY thankful for SO MANY WONDERFUL PEOPLE... who I am so blessed to be meeting lately! :D I feel truly blessed. :)
