More Christmas Love...

myspacegeeks.com
Someday, Perhaps
It begins long before the first frost -
Somewhere between memory and reality.
It touches us with compassion
and whispers to us of hope.
It tiptoes into our hearts with elation
and opens our souls to faith.
Its name is Christmas and we have yet to learn
How to keep it close for more than
this one brief, shining moment.
Someday, perhaps...with love.

"Every time we love, every time we give, it's Christmas."~Dale Evans

Because in everything I do
You always have a part,
Because a loving thought of you
Is always in my heart,
Because each little wish of mine
You've tried to make come true --
At Christmas time, I want to say
How dearly I love you.

  6. What lovely poetry you have written, it warmed both my heart and soul. I imagine you are on the countdown for the holiday fun with your family. I had mine last weekend, a rather early holiday.I sent all my leftover goodies to the Sp Ed room I used to work in, I was on sugar overload
