"In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit." ~Albert Schweitzer
Have you ever met someone and knew you were meant to? I'm sure we all have more than once. With some encounters the lessons and reasons are obvious and instant. With others, it takes time, even a process to bring us the lessons or understanding.
Then there are those encounters with someone at a time when our inner fire has gone out. When one or both have lost hope of finding happiness or even peace.
So when someone comes into your life that rekindles your inner fire, realize that you were meant to meet them. In fact, divine intervention and their loving guidance has just stepped in... to change your life for the better, if you let it.
No matter your religion, divine intervention is the higher power that most of us believe in... call it God, Angels, whatever you like. We all need to believe in something higher than ourselves because along with that comes 'hope' and our 'faith'.
I refuse to give up Hope or my Faith that Positive can Win... overcoming Negative; Good over Evil. I also have Faith that if you pray for someone you truly care about, with no ulterior motives, that you can bring them the guidance and strength that they need while lighting or rekindling their inner fire.
I believe with all my heart and soul, that our higher power guides us and their 'divine intervention' steps in to help us find the peace and happiness that we all deserve in life.
So if you meet or already know someone who 'lights your inner fire', realize that divine intervention has just stepped in to guide you in a new direction, to bring you happiness and change your life forever... if you let it.
"If someone Lights your Inner Fire... don't give up, even fight for them if you have to... and you will Live your Greatest and Happiest Life Possible` ~ME
"Do not let your fire go out, spark by irreplaceable spark.... Do not let the hero in your soul perish, in lonely frustration for the life you deserved, but have never been able to reach. Check your road and the nature of your battle. The world you desired can be won. It exists, it is real, it is possible, it is yours." ~Ayn Rand (1905 - 1982)
Good will always over come evil!
ReplyDeleteTo me there are no chance encounters - God always sends folks into my life for a reason - mutual edification, encouragement or simply refreshing!
ReplyDeleteI totally agree, Coreen... God puts people in our lives at times for specific reasons. George certainly did 'light my inner fire' when we met.... AND--that fire is still burning strong.... Hope you meet your 'George' someday.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy
I am in total agreement Corren. Good overcomes evil any day in my life, no matter, after how someone may treat you , you don't have to come down to their level you don't know what problems they may have in their life.
ReplyDeleteHave a good day.

I know exactly what you mean. I have had those encounters where I met someone and my life was enriched in a completely unexpected and good way. A lot of my encounters have been here on the blogosphere, where I've made so many new and amazing friends.
ReplyDeleteThank you Coreen for sharing on this.
