Half Full Friday is a series of weekly posts that Eye Girl originally started in June 2009. Now the it is hosted by Sprinkles at Wyldechylde. We believe that a lot of our happiness is determined by our attitude about the things that happen to us. So by participating, we are deciding to see the glass as half full, instead of half empty. We are choosing to concentrate on the positives, instead of dwelling on the negatives. Our Half Full Friday posts are a way to do just that. They are a list of the things in our life that have brought us happiness over the past week. We are determined to find the something good in every day. Are you?"Experiencing Divine Happiness depends completely on the belief, thinking process, and understanding of an individual. Divine Happiness can be experienced by truly desiring it. It comes from within, when we understand its true meaning and worth." ~Happiness.com
"Divine happiness, even the tiniest particle of a grain of it, never leaves one again; and when one attains to the essence of things and finds one's Self--this is supreme happiness. When it is found, nothing else remains to be found; the sense of want will not awaken anymore, and the heart's torment will be stilled forever. Do not be satisfied with fragmentary happiness, which is invariably interrupted by shocks and blows of fate; but become complete, and having attained to perfection, be YOURSELF." ~Sri Anandamayi Ma
For the next week, we challenge you to keep a list of at least one thing that brought you happiness each day.
I'm Happy and Thankful for many things every day... especially this week:
For my feet getting better FAST!
- For a wonderful visit with all my sons!!
- For the new people I've met recently.
- For amazing conversations this week.
- For weekend plans with a friend.
- For helping someone with my blog.
- For the buck that walked right up to me!!
- For getting my replacement Iphone.
For having a goal of Divine Happiness!!
"Our goal of fullfilling our deepest desire... is for authentic Divine Happiness" ~AnonymousIt's also "ALOHA FRIDAY" Everyone!! If you want to join in the fun? Post your own question on your blog and leave your link at the Aloha Friday post at An Island Life. Then you can visit the other participants if you wish...It’s a great way to make new bloggy friends or see what people are thinking about this week and join in a conversation or two if you like.
My question: Why do you think certain people keep go in and out of your life at times?"There's a reason for everything and everything has its divine time" ~anonymous
My answer: I think that they are going through a process and figuring things out in their own way and in divine timing. We all need that process to grow and heal; before we can figure out who we are; what we need and finally... what we want.
"Divine Timing is the idea that everything happens at its exact right time. I like to think of it as the time it takes from when I receive an epiphany or inspired thought of where I should go next in my life, to when this thought is manifested into reality." ~The Process of Divine Timing @ SelfGrowth.comHave a wonderful Friday!!
Hugs and Many Blessings,

A buck walked up to you? A deer or a dollar bill? Either one is impressive!
ReplyDeleteHaHa.. A 'male Deer' walked right up to me! I went outside to fill the bird feeders and saw him up on the hill from my patio. I grabbed my camera as he walked down the hill and right up to me! I swear he wanted some bird seed!! He didn't scare me at all and has been on my patio looking in many, many times. He was the 'buck' looking in when I was recovering from surgery. I posted his picture here that day too. :-)
ReplyDeleteYour question reminded of this life lesson:
ReplyDeleteReason, Season, or Lifetime
~ unknown
People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime.
When you figure out which one it is,
you will know what to do for each person.
When someone is in your life for a REASON,
it is usually to meet a need you have expressed.
They have come to assist you through a difficulty;
to provide you with guidance and support;
to aid you physically, emotionally or spiritually.
They may seem like a godsend, and they are.
They are there for the reason you need them to be.
Then, without any wrongdoing on your part
or at an inconvenient time,
this person will say or do something
to bring the relationship to an end.
Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away.
Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.
What we must realize is that our need has been met,
our desire fulfilled; their work is done.
The prayer you sent up has been answered
and now it is time to move on.
Some people come into your life for a SEASON,
because your turn has come to share, grow or learn.
They bring you an experience of peace or make you laugh.
They may teach you something you have never done.
They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy.
Believe it. It is real. But only for a season.
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons;
things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation.
Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person,
and put what you have learned to use
in all other relationships and areas of your life.
It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant.
I do so love lookin' at the world through my 'rose colored' glasses. My cup is full!!! Heeehehehe!
ReplyDeleteI adore readin' your Friday lists sweetie and am thankful your feet are feelin' up to par again.
Oh, I believe that God puts people in our paths for many different reasons. From a lesson to be learned to a helping hand. We are blessed that He is in control.
God bless and have a delightful weekend sweetie!!! :o)
Sounds like you had another great week!
ReplyDeleteSorry I didn't post yesterday. I meant to pre-post on Thursday but I had a raging migraine. Yesterday I was at work and school all day and when I got home, I was so exhausted, I could barely keep my eyes open.
That's really cool a deer walked right up to you. Did you pet him? I would have tried to.
I posted HFF today though so don't forget to swing by and link up!
Always a good idea to express our gratitude for what brings us happiness. Thanks for this reminder.
ReplyDeleteI never really thought about it before but now that I think about it I can think of a few people who go in and out of my life.
ReplyDeleteLOVE your nice long list this week! :)
ReplyDeleteThere have been people that have come in and gone out of my life...and some that are steadfast fixtures. ;)
