You go get 'em, Baby!
ReplyDeletetell it! talk on!
ReplyDeleteLet 'em talk!!!!
ReplyDeleteMy idea is if they're reading your blog, obviously their either to nosey, interested in what you have to say or just creepy.
So don't let the creepos get you down.
It doesn't matter who you are, there will always be someone who doesn't like you. I've learned that the hard way.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're so open and honest in your postings. You've brought more awareness of autism to my life and that's something that I probably wouldn't have had otherwise. Plus, I really think we're a lot alike.
People who read you, read you ONLY because they like you/what you have to say. The rest can do whatever they like. If they are willing to waste their precious living moments reading you, criticizing you- it is their loss because their wasted time won't come back to them.
ReplyDeleteCheers, girl! You rock!! :)
I grew up with a mom that truly worried about what other's thought and that was engrained in me early on. I no longer care what others think. I know who I am. When I was younger, it was difficult but now that I'm settled in my thoughts, I'm content.
ReplyDeleteLove your honest posts.
Thanks for writing this at this particular time as my grown up children seem to suddenly think what is best for me, No matter what I say or do it is their opinion that counts and if I don't agree then to bad they ignore me completely so I don't get to see my grandchildren. I am me and I do have a right to how I think and how I want to live.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful week-end.
Yvonne.
Well said Coreen! I just happened to mention likewise to a friend of mine, that what others think about us doesn't matter so as long as we stay true to our belief of promoting & doing goodness. ^__^

Behind your back...to your face...the point is there talking about you! And thats a good thing because you need them to pay attention to what you have to say!! :)
ReplyDeleteI don't worry about it!
ReplyDeleteYes we will always have chatter behind our backs!
ReplyDeletekim
Don't mind them! It's certainly true that chatters would always say something either you write good or bad. What is important is you knew who you are and you love what you are doing.
ReplyDeleteDon't you dare hold back. Speak your mind with gusto. It took me until my forties to embrace what I call my "inner bitch." It's not so much a pejorative as it is the acknowldgement that when a woman is strong society dubs her a bitch. So a bitch I became. Too bad. Write your heart out. Go for it. I can't wait to read what you come up with!
ReplyDeletewe all LOVE what u write dear, it always interests me xxx welcome home :)
ReplyDeleteDon't forget, it's Half Full Friday!
ReplyDeleteYou are so right ...people will talk no matter what!!
ReplyDeleteI think very much like you on this subject. I am learning to care ONLY what God things of me. It is a process though. Thanks for the encouragement and prayers! Love this post!
