"One word frees us of all the weight and pain of life: that word is Love." - Sophocles
Love is . . .
Love is a wonderful gift. It's a present so precious words can barely begin to describe it.
Love is a feeling, the deepest and sweetest of all. It's incredibly strong and amazingly gentle at the very same time.
It is a blessing that should be counted every day. It is nourishment for the soul.
It is devotion, constantly letting each person know how supportive its certainty can be.
Love is a heart filled with affection for the most important person in your life.
Love is looking at the special someone who makes your world go around and absolutely loving what you see.
Love gives meaning to one's world and magic to a million hopes and dreams.
It makes the morning shine more brightly and each season seem like it's the nicest one anyone ever had.
Love is an invaluable bond that enriches every good thing in life. It gives each hug a tenderness, each heart a happiness, each spirit a steady lift.
Love is an invisible connection that is exquisitely felt by those who know the joy, feel the warmth, share the sweetness, and celebrate the gift.
By D.Pagels.
“The worst thing you can do for love is deny it; so when you find that special someone, don't let anyone or anything to get in your way.” ~ Thinkexist.com
A hard word for many to use, and for some a hard word to really mean when they do use it.Love can be that extension of oneself to show compassion to all around them.
ReplyDeletelove is...all that and more...
ReplyDeleteGrowing up with the twisted versions of the word, I've come to understand and appreciate the version you have here. And it's all true.
ReplyDeleteOnce we learn its true meaning, its value and its power, we should not keep it to ourselves. We should share it and use it to bind up the wounds we see in others, very gently.
Great post!
Wonderful post, I enjoyed reading ....and agreeing what was written.
ReplyDeleteYvonne.

ReplyDeleteI have been given so much love that I find it a very easy thing to do! Great post!
ReplyDeleteOMG:) You have touched my heart with this topic as you know this is one of my fav topic and i can go on and on about Love. Love is for sure a gift of God but it has to be right love sometime love is blind and you do stuff that can harm you in your future so but if it is true love you dont need to be worry about it but be careful when you fall in love because it is very easy to love someone but hard to keep that love forever !
ReplyDeleteOmg did i start writing .. I think i better stop.. hahahah

What a great post. I am most certainly a lover.
ReplyDeleteI am taking your advice and drinking tons of water (I had kidney stones already) and want nothing to do with them again. I am still feeling 'yucky' from the surgery but hopefully by Monday all will be back to normal!
Have a great weekend!
The bible tells us that love is the greatest gift of all and to be desired above any others. I think if you have love, many other things and gifts will naturally fall into place.
ReplyDeleteLOVE is LIFE... LOVE is everything. We ALL need and want love --whether it is love from God, from husband/wife, from family and from friends... It's just very important for a good life.... Praise God for LOVE.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy
