Random Thoughts... with no one person in mind.

"Random thoughts are received with no context for it, no per-conceived notions or bias." ~unknown
http://diyphotography.net

Just so you know... there are times
... when all you can do is blog. :-)

Just so you know... I blogged less
... I lost my inspiration/muse for a time.

Just so you know... I believe my blog
... gives strength and hope to many.

Just so you know... I often write
... when someone is on my heart.

Just so you know... my Intuition & Heart
... are what I follow the most.

Just so you know... I always pray
... for those on my heart.

Just so you know... coincidences
... are really signs from God.

Just so you know... I believe
... the signs are his directions.

Just so you know... I know
... some ignore the signs until it's too late.

Just so you know... I wonder
... where their family and friends are.

Just so you know... I wish they would help
... break the cycle of drama and manipulation.

Just so you know... enabling
... doesn't help anyone in the long run.

Just so you know... finding peace
... is what everyone needs to be happy.

Just so you know... sometimes you need distance
... so you can see think clearly.

Just so you know... I worry
... because it will only get worse.

Just so you know... I've been there
... so I truly understand.

Just so you know... I'd reach out
... but I was warned not to.

Just so you know... reaching out I'm told
... isn't always the right thing to do... or is it just not the right time.

In your lifetime you will find...

In your lifetime you will find...

The most precious possession that ever comes to a person in this world is a another's heart.  There are many who may say they love you... but only a few people are truly capable of unconditional love and fewer still can show it.  These are the ones  that God has places in our life's path that are who we should have in our life to feel fulfilled and happy.  Those that help us be the best we can be and are good for us..  It's up to us to realize who they are.... before they've moved on and you realize later in life... who they were.

Follow your heart and not your guilt or fear.  The path that leads to true love and happiness.  That is the path that God wants for all of us... his children.

What's meant to be....

"When people come into your life for only a SEASON... It was meant to be.  They come for a REASON...  So, let it be..."
"What's meant to be will always find a way."
As the poem goes:  'People come into our life for a Reason, a Season or a Lifetime...'  It's often times hard for us to determine, in the beginning, which of those a person is supposed to be.  Primarily because we ourselves are too close to the situation to be objective.  Often times our own wants and needs, get in the way of just letting situations and relationships just take it's course..., whatever that course may be.

What gets many of us in trouble, is when our desires cause us to see situations and people the way we wish them to be and believe what we want to.  When these feeling and emotions take over, it sometimes allows us to assume and even expect something that may or may not... meant to be.

Most of us, however, can see the truth later on... which of those 3 they were and even see why we were meant to meet that person... no matter how long or how brief.  God then hopes that we also see the reason or lesson... and there is always a reason along with a lesson or two.

I've personally been on both sides.  When I was naive and too trusting, I was the person picturing happy, even romantic futures.  Then as I grew and became much more intuitive and understanding of the paths and lessons that we are to encounter throughout our life times.  Now a days I seem to be on the other side where I feel I'm the person who comes into lives for a reason, maybe even a season to support, direct or help in some way.

I believe that we are all meant to be the 'Reason, Season or Lifetime' for many, many people throughout our lives.  Sometimes, unfortunately we encounter someone who misunderstands why we've met.  They assume and even expect things that are just not meant to be or why we are here for them.  They don't see what we are here to teach or show them.

It's a touchy situation when have to set boundaries, while continuing to be a good friend and teach the lessons that God has placed them there to do.  That person has to remain strong, listen to their intuition or gut... and stay true to their heart and only be what they are meant to be for that person.

The main lessons I've learned are: self love first; be the person you wish to find; do the things you want to do with that person someday; and above all else... never expect, never assume, never demand... just let it be and enjoy the moment, the friendship or the situation.
"Maybe some people just aren't meant to be in our lives forever.  Maybe some people are just passing through.  It's like some people just come through our lives to bring us something: a gift, a blessing, a lesson we need to learn.  And that's why they're here.  You'll have that gift forever." ~Danielle Steel, The Gif

Come from a place of Love

"Come from a place of Love, not anger or frustration."~Me
lightworkersworld.com
I've struggled so many times in my life to find balance with keeping the power and control over my own life; while also coming from a heart of understanding, compassion and even love.  It's not always easy.

I try hard to stay away from negative and gossipy people who think they know everything about everyone.  However sometimes I admit I get sucked in to it when I have my guard down; I'm lonely, tired or just having a bad day.  Causing me to have doubts about people I care about; second guessing my own intuition and heart.

I realize now that when I allow others opinions to influence how I feel, that I'm reacting out of Fear.  Fear of making another mistake; fear of being hurt and even fear of gossip.  None of those things should control or even be a factor in what I decide or do.  I fail greatly when I let it.
"We should never react out of fear.  We should always respond out of Love."~ME
Most of the time when I feel anger, it's really from the Fear of one of those possibilities.  When I find fault and react out of Fear; that distorted sense of control never last.  It only causes me to have regret and guilt later on.  All because I allowed outside chatter and negativity get to me.

There are times when I've shut the door on friends because of the drama going on in their lives.  I believed when I was told I should be scared or even angry.  Those 'words of advice' are always coming from negative chatter; not from a heart of compassion, understanding or Love.

When we come from a place of Love, we have Understanding and Compassion.  I moved twice to give my son... understanding and compassion from teachers and staff that truly cared.   It made all the difference in his life.  That's why I'm always looking for people like that in my own life.

How does the saying go.... "Be the person you wish to find."   I agree... and in regards to all our relationships.   I'm trying hard not to be influenced by 'fear'... so I can follow my heart... reaching out to friends and anyone I 'feel' needs me to; without hesitation or fear.

Fear is the only thing that has ever held me back from coming from a place of Love.  I pray that there are special people in my life that know and understand that now.
"Negativity comes from Fear.  Love stops negativity in it's tracks."~Me

To Give Love...

"The most important thing in Life is to learn how to give out Love, and to let it come in." ~Morrie Schwartz
geddetemenan.blogspot.com

"From Love"by Leo Buscaglia

"In discussing love, it would be well to consider the
following premises:

One cannot give what he does not possess.
To give love you must possess love.

One cannot teach what he does not understand.
To teach love you must comprehend love.

One cannot know what he does not study..
To study love you must live in love.

One cannot appreciate what he does not recognize.
To recognize love you must be receptive to love.

One cannot have doubt about that which he wishes to
trust. To trust love you must be convinced of love.

One cannot admit what he does not yield to.
To yield to love you must be vulnerable to love.

One cannot live what he does not dedicate himself to.
To dedicate yourself to love you must be forever

growing in love."

The Answer is Always LOVE

"Remember LOVE is the answer! Listen to your heart, speak with your heart, see with your heart & feel with your heart." ~Stephanie Albright, founder/owner Ancient Wisdom

The Heart Only Knows Love.  The heart does not judge and the heart sees everyone 'whole' and 'complete'.   It's the Head that judges and finds the fault in others and even ourselves.  We are 'whole' and 'complete' in the Heart; because the Heart sees only through the eyes of LOVE; the same way GOD sees us.  If only we could all listen, speak, see and feel with our Hearts more often; the world would be a better place. :-)

Above all else, love and compassion uplift and transform your life.  They both reduce your anger, hatred and jealousy, while expanding your heart and mind, making life worthwhile.  When all is said and done, there is nothing more important than love and compassion.
"The Heart only knows LOVE; Everything else is coming from the Head." ~Stephanie Albright @ Ancient Wisdom

Just Honesty...

"Just be Honest with Yourself.  That Opens the Door." ~Vernon Howard
lailashares.wordpress.com
"Honesty is an active verb, not a passive noun. Go out of your way to be truthful, beginning with the things that you say to yourself." ~Joe Tye, America’s Values Coach
“Walking your talk is a great way to motivate yourself. No one likes to live a lie. Be honest with yourself, and you will find the motivation to do what you advise others to do." ~Vince Poscente (Olympian, Speaker and Author)
"Being vulnerable doesn't have to be threatening. Just have the courage to be sincere, open and honest. This opens the door to deeper communication all around. It creates self-empowerment and the kind of connections with others we all want in life. Speaking from the heart frees us from the secrets that burden us. These secrets are what make us sick or fearful. Speaking truth helps you get clarity on your real heart directives." ~Sara Paddison, The Hidden Power of the Heart

To the person who visits my blog a lot:  Can you please let me know if you need anything?

I feel you are looking for strength and hope when you read my post.  However, you've visited so often and for such a long time without reaching out; that I believe you're in a bad place or situation.  Please know that I won't judge and that you can trust me if you contact me.

I would really appreciate hearing from you in some way.  Maybe I can help you find some direction or just be a friend who listens.  I'm praying for you, who ever you are.

Can you feel me Praying for You?

turnbacktogod.com

Someone, Somewhere
Life has been such a struggle for me, Nothing is going right. I am so weak, lost and afraid, My days are dark as night. I cry out to God but just can't find the words, This pain just won't go away. Then hope fills my soul and I start to believe, That things will get better today.
I know that someone is praying for me, I can feel it in my heart. Tears filled my eyes and I almost gave up, My heart felt so ripped apart. But someone, somewhere said a prayer for me, God knew just what to do. For He knew my struggles and sent me someone, To pray to get me through.
I know that someone is praying for me, Cause I couldn't do it myself. Then in an instant I felt so free, He took care of me by Himself. He asked someone loving to answer His call, Someone who really does care. To lift me up to our heavenly Lord, A dear friend out there somewhere.
Life is still a struggle for me, But I get on my knees and pray. Although I am weak I'm much stronger now, There's sunshine back in my day. It makes all the difference knowing someone, Really cares about me. For God sent me someone, somewhere out there, To pray on behalf of me.
If the Lord leads you to pray for someone, A friend or someone unknown, Don't look away for God needs your help, And to you He has shown. Your love and kindness could change someone's life, Although they may not know you. The life that you helped could have been mine, And to you I say, THANK-YOU!
I know what it's like to have someone, somewhere, Ask the Lord to guide me. I felt so alone, but that prayer changed my life, And set my heart so free. I'll keep my heart open and listen for God, Then I'll pray to Him for you. For I want to be that someone, somewhere, Who God can use for you. Nancy Burr

Heart to Heart talks...

123greetings.com
Heart to Heart talks are so important!  Yet in this day and age of busy schedules and technology, it seems that it's becoming almost rare.  I personally miss the days when people picked up the phone and actually talked for hours.  Communication allows us to get to know each other better.  Sharing experiences, thoughts and feelings... insights into our worlds, creates understanding and deep connections.   No technology can replace the feelings we each get from real voice or face to face conversations.

Now a days, it's too easy to quickly send an email or text, not giving the other person much more than words and facts.  We forget sometimes how much the tone of a voice or facial expressions convey the feelings, 'heart' and soul of the person speaking those words and telling the details or facts.

I had not talked to my sons recently except for emails and text messages because they have been so busy.  However this week I was able to actually talk to each of them at length on the phone and and we all got the 'feelings' and 'heart' behind the messages.  It was wonderful and even gave us all a sense of relief and understanding.  I miss having them closer and the ability to have these conversations face to face and 'heart to heart'.

There are others on my mind and in my 'heart' that I also miss and need to talk to also.  So I need to find the time and arrange the opportunities for more of those 'heart to heart' talks with them as well soon.  Either in person or on the phone, whatever works out.  It's so important, especially when we remember how short and unpredictable life can be.

I hope we all reach out and connect with someone on our hearts and minds today!
"Deep heart listening and speaking your truth generates an exhilarating "heart talk" frequency. "Heart talk" is care in action and builds friendship. As you learn to see everyone as your friend, and not as an enemy, you release judgments. Just keep your heart open to them as you speak your truth." ~Sara Paddison, Hidden Power of the Heart

Having a Pure Heart

"What is a pure heart?  A heart free of possessiveness, a heart able to feel the sorrow of others, a heart that thirsts for what is right, a heart that is not vengeful.  We see a pure heart in the face of a virtuous person."  ~wiki.answers.com
dailygrace.blogspot.com
"To have a pure heart is to reach the destination quickly. To have a pure heart means to keep the mind free from negative and waste. When there is positivity within, the mind is receptive to new ideas as it is in perfect peace. So the best is made out of the situation at hand and so it is easy to pool in all the resources in order to reach the destination. When we have a pure heart, we experience the beauty and positivity of life. We are able to keep our mind calm and enjoy everything that comes our way. Our destination is clear and we have the confidence to work towards it. We get the blessings and good wishes of those around which help us further move forward." ~Brahma Kumaris, Mt. Abu

"In my opinion, if you have a pure heart it means that you don't have selfish and/or evil intentions behind the good deeds you do.  It also means to be honest and to be happy for the good things that happen to others, not jealous or judgmental." ~Me

"Now is right on time"

"Your journey has molded you for your greater good, and it was exactly what it needed to be. Don't think that you've lost time. There is no short-cutting to life. It took each and every situation you have encountered to bring you to the now. And now is right on time." — Asha Tyson

Time and Heart

Countless lifetimes, carrying joy and sorrow both...
How many dawns have greeted my eyes,
Thoughts remained wordless inside?
Seeing something of our tomorrows,
Standing at the threshold, here,
Between shores of old
And the rise of new beginnings...

Destined journeys, myriads of possibilities,
Countless worlds and beings await.
To carry them into the new cosmos?
Time and heart will tell...

Betrayal can have many forms.

zawaj.com

What is betrayal?  It's the breaking or violation of a presumptive trust, or confidence that produces moral and psychological conflict within a relationship amongst individuals.

In relationships many people, men especially, think that if you don't 'cross that line' and sleep with someone other than the one you share your bed with at night, that you are being a faithful and even loyal partner.  That's not always true though.

When you get into bed with someone you don't love, you are not only betraying yourself, but you're cruelly betraying that other person.  Even if there is no one else in your heart or on your mind.  It's still betrayal; even if you live with or are even married to that person.  It's a cruel, sick and twisted game to play with anyone.

In the case where there is someone else on your heart, thoughts or in your dream, I feel that you are also betraying that person as well.   Even if they don't know how you feel for sure and you never 'crossed that line' with them.  If they do know, and believe me... they usually know, you are hurting them deeply as well.  Again, a cruel, sick and twisted game played not only with the 'truth' but with someone else's heart and life.

Every woman I know, and most men, would rather be hurt with the Truth, than to be either lied to, given half truths or excuses for their behavior.  It makes people feel rejected and used; even if you're married.  No one, male or female, wants to feel either of those.   It's heart breaking and humiliating!'

Each and every day that you live a lie with someone, you are betraying them.  Hurting and humiliating them beyond comprehension.  No one deserves that.  Whether you admit to 'falling out of love' or lie and say you loved them in the first place... at least on a subconscious level, the other person knows.   They know when you are not emotionally connected to them.  They can feel it, see it in your eyes or tell it by your actions.

This is when many times the unconsciously rejected partner becomes insecure, suspicious and assumes many things.  On a certain level, they are right... even if their partner or spouse never crossed that 'physical line' with someone else.  A person's intuition usually knows when they have, even if it's just in their mind or heart.

I've observed far to many friends hurt by this cruel, sick and twisted game.  Whether it's girlfriends or guy friends... the hurt, humiliation and damage is usually the same.  So for those who 'play this game'... look in the mirror; go into your heart and be honest with yourself.  Then finally be honest with the person who deserves the truth!  Act like a man, or woman, and stop playing games with other peoples' lives and hearts!!

Do you think of me too?

"My thoughts are free to go anywhere, but it's surprising how often they head in your direction." ~ by perez

Do you think of me too?   by Sherry Lynn

As I lay here in bed
I think of you
I begin to wonder
Do you think of me too?

I imagine you're next to me,
Pulling me close,
I feel your kiss,
As you caress my skin.

My heart beats fast,
Pounding louder every second,
I begin to tremble,
As I taste your sweet lips.

I find that I gasp for air,
To replace the breath that you just took away.

My body and soul
Are slipping into a heavenly bliss.
Your hands are touching my every inch,
With such ease and tenderness.

I want this moment to last,
Not one second can escape,
I want to stay in your arms,
But then I suddenly awake.

It was only a dream,
Just a desire,
But in reality,
You have set my heart on fire.

SPECIAL Half Full Friday with New Sponsor Wyldechylde & Aloha Friday's question of the week

"Your success and happiness lies in you. Resolve to keep happy, and your joy and you shall form an invincible host against difficulties." ~Helen Keller
Half Full Friday is a series of weekly posts that Eye Girl originally started in June 2009.  Now the it is hosted by Sprinkles at Wyldechylde.  We believe that a lot of our happiness is determined by our attitude about the things that happen to us. So by participating, we are deciding to see the glass as half full, instead of half empty. We are choosing to concentrate on the positives, instead of dwelling on the negatives. Our Half Full Friday posts are a way to do just that. They are a list of the things in our life that have brought us happiness over the past week. We are determined to find the something good in every day. Are you?
“Happiness is the meaning and the purpose of life, the whole aim and end of human existence” ~Aristotles
"Happiness is the sense that one matters." ~Sarah Trimmer
For the next week, we challenge you to keep a list of at least one thing that brought you happiness each day.
"Life is too short to wake up with regrets. Love the people who treat you right and forget the ones who don't! Believe that everything happens for a reason. If you get a chance- take it. If it changes your life- let it. Nobody said life would be easy they just promised, it would be worth it." ~Anonymous

My answer:   The personal accomplishments and success of all 3 of my sons; my blogging & writing friends and meeting 2 amazing people this year... who have each changed my life forever!  Along with the most personal growth I've ever had in just one short year!

Forever Connected ... By: Silke Wettergren

Opulent Reality

Forever Connected © Silke Wettergren

Every moment we spent together
Has touched our lives, our souls forever
The things that we shared and learned
Is permanent growth that we've earned.

The person that I have grown into today
Did not get there by chance, no way
I am who I am partly because of you
And you are YOU because of me, too.

The changes I see
and what I have learned about me
are a response to how we affected our lives
and what we discover in each others eyes.

It is uncertain if we have to part or one day live together
Either way, we have touched our lives forever!
No matter what the future will show
No matter what we are told.

We are connected on such a deep levels
That no one can remove that, not even the devil.
Our feelings might be different a year from now
But you are part of me forever somehow.

A part of me will always be you
and a part of you will always be me.
no matter what happens, that much is certain
our souls are one until life closes the curtain.

I will love your forever
For worse or for better.

You are tattooed in my heart
And nothing can tear our souls apart.

I will never forget you
For my love is honest and true.

© Silke Wettergren ~ Poem Source: Forever Connected, True Love Poems
"Some people come into our lives and quickly go.  Some people move our souls to dance.  They awaken us to new understandings with the passing whisper of their wisdom.  Some people make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon.  They stay in our lives for awhile, leave footprints in our heart, and we are never ever the same." ~ Chicken Soup for the Soul

Love is . . . By D.Pagels.

"One word frees us of all the weight and pain of life: that word is Love." - Sophocles

Love is . . .

Love is a wonderful gift.  It's a present so precious words can barely begin to describe it.

Love is a feeling, the deepest and sweetest of all.  It's incredibly strong and amazingly gentle at the very same time.

It is a blessing that should be counted every day.  It is nourishment for the soul.

It is devotion, constantly letting each person know how supportive its certainty can be.

Love is a heart filled with affection for the most important person in your life.

Love is looking at the special someone who makes your world go around and absolutely loving what you see.

Love gives meaning to one's world and magic to a million hopes and dreams.

It makes the morning shine more brightly and each season seem like it's the nicest one anyone ever had.

Love is an invaluable bond that enriches every good thing in life.  It gives each hug a tenderness, each heart a happiness, each spirit a steady lift.

Love is an invisible connection that is exquisitely felt by those who know the joy, feel the warmth, share the sweetness, and celebrate the gift.

By D.Pagels.

I Am Your Friend ...

I Am Your Friend

You may not see me now
But you know that I am here.
You can feel me in your heart
As you enter each new day.

I will always be there for you
I am your friend.
Someone to share the good times
As well as the bad.

I make no judgments by what you say
I just listen with my heart and
Hope to be of help in anyway I can.

I will be there for you now and forever
And always please remember
I am your friend!

Meanings ... a poem about believing!

Standing for what you believe in,
Regardless of the odds against you,
and the pressure that tears at your resistance,
... means courage.

Keeping a smile on your face,
When inside you feel like dying,
For the sake of supporting others,
... means strength.

Stopping at nothing,
And doing what's in your heart,
You know is right,
... means determination.

Doing more than is expected,
To make another's life a little more bearable,
Without uttering a single complaint,
... means compassion.

Helping a friend in need,
No matter the time or effort,
To the best of your ability,
... means loyalty.

Giving more than you have,
And expecting nothing,
But nothing in return,
... means selflessness.

Holding your head high,
And being the best you know you can be
When life seems to fall apart at your feet,
Facing each difficulty with the confidence
That time will bring you better tomorrows,
And never giving up,
... means confidence
